JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Aircraft Engineer Supervisor will supervise
and maintain the high level of safety, reliability,
security and presentation required by customers,
regulatory authorities and the company in a costeffective
manner.

Manage the daily engineering operation
effectively and efficiently. Liaise effectively with
airport staff and working groups on the aircraft to
ensure a well managed operation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Report to Engineering Manager (EM).
• Deputize as Engineering Manager when the
Engineering Manager is absent and assume the
full responsibilities as detailed in the EM’s job
description.
• Perform the duties of an Aircraft Engineer (AE)
when rostered to do so as detailed in the AE job
description.
• Directly supervises and certifies aircraft
maintenance when required to do so.
• Monitor ground based aircraft monitoring and
recording to assess aircraft serviceability, and
respond accordingly.
• Perform additional aircraft maintenance as
requested by CX Technical Services – Fleet
Support Team and Engineering Planned
Maintenance Hong Kong (Acceptable Deferred
Defects Clearance).
• Perform and certify maintenance and servicing
of third party operator’s aircraft in accordance with
the applicable Standard Ground Handling
Agreement.
• Provides a high level of customer service.
• Perform relief duties on other stations when
requested to do so.
• Keep self up to date with the aircraft systems,
technology processes and procedures.
• Perform additional project assignments as
requested by EM.

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering discipline or an
equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience of aircraft
engineering as Engineer or equivalent
• Must hold HKAR 66 B1 or B2
• Must hold all appropriate aircraft approval types
for the station at level 3
• Must have recognized management training
• Demonstrated expertise and leadership qualities
• Must have the right to live and work in the
Philippines

PAL aircraft, engines, components and appliances.
Performs audit of the tools, test equipment, facllltles,
aircraft manuals and quallftcatlons of maintenance
personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards
established by the Grvt.1 and other applicable PAL
manuals and Aviation AuUiority requirements. To evaluate
oorrective/preventive actions to the audit findings.
• To perform audits on PAL offices involved in the
maintenance and engineering
• To evaluate capability of foreign airlines/line station
handling companies and foreign repair/overhaul entitiBS
servicing PAL aircraft, engines and component.
• To perform periodic audlt/lnspecUons of PAL domestic
and contracted International refueling stations and fuel
supplier bulk plants and rnto-Plane operators to ensure
the quality of fuel conforms to the company and lndus1ry
standards.
• To participate in the investigation of mechanic
irregularities or incidents pertaining to company airaaft
and associated equipment, as required.
