About Your Job:

As a B1 engineer you will be responsible for delivering aircraft maintenance services to directly support 

operations. You will plan activities in an effective manner, review work procedures and standards and propose 

improvements to procedures to ensure effectiveness. As well as being responsible for the final release of work

 accomplished by mechanics, you will also ensure tasks are performed to meet company standards and targets 

such as despatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. You will also plan the work of and provide 

guidance and on the job training to the technicians and aircraft mechanics.

About You:

You must hold a recognised diploma in aircraft trade, be a holder of ICAO type 2 license (preferably EASA B1) 

and  be a Licensed Engineer holding a minimum of one Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations. 

(Preference will be given to engineers holding multiple Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations.)

You will also have at least 2 years experience as approved Certifying Engineer on one or more Qatar Airways 

aircraft types, not including OJT, in line maintenance. You must also have detailed knowledge of aircraft 

maintenance fundamentals and company procedures, and a sound knowledge of air legislation. 

The type training course certificate should be EASA part 147 approved training center.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for maintaining and updating operations related manuals/publications/PC laptops and ensuring that all crew and aircraft which are dispatched for flight are equipped with updated and complete documents.
• Incorporate revision to aeronautical publications and manuals obtained from sources and ensureposting of all published revision.
• Check and update the contents of navigational bag of departing flights at the aircraft.
• Monitor the currency level of operations data aboard each aircraft in the fleet.
• Distribute, monitor and control all revisions to each trip kit, office copies and library.
• Maintain and contro the distribution, update of LPC laptops.
• Download applicable NavDatabase and Aero charts updates from sources

Requirements: 

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Aeronautical Publications or related field.
• Can work under pressure and in shifting schedules.
• Must be a holder of Professional driver's license.
• Knowledgeable in MS Applications.

Line Maintenance Engineer - Cebu Pacific

DUTY ENGINEER-LINE MAINTENANCE - CEBU BASED
(National Capital Reg - Mactan Airport, Cebu City)

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible in aircraft fleet monitoring and evaluating potential AOG by close coordination between Operations Group.
• Will closely coordinate with 5J OCC to ensure any aircraft disruption be highlighted immediately and close coordination for minimum disruption and recovery.

Requirements: 

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Experience in Aircraft System troubleshooting, Aircraft defect rectification in line maintenance, Minimum Equipment List handling.
• Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• With at least 1 year experience is an advantage.
• MUST hold PRC license and/or RP-CAAP A&P license holder.
