About Your Job:
As a B1 engineer you will be responsible for delivering aircraft maintenance services to directly support 
operations. You will plan activities in an effective manner, review work procedures and standards and propose 
improvements to procedures to ensure effectiveness. As well as being responsible for the final release of work
 accomplished by mechanics, you will also ensure tasks are performed to meet company standards and targets 
such as despatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. You will also plan the work of and provide 
guidance and on the job training to the technicians and aircraft mechanics.
About You:
You must hold a recognised diploma in aircraft trade, be a holder of ICAO type 2 license (preferably EASA B1) 
and  be a Licensed Engineer holding a minimum of one Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations. 
(Preference will be given to engineers holding multiple Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations.)
You will also have at least 2 years experience as approved Certifying Engineer on one or more Qatar Airways 
aircraft types, not including OJT, in line maintenance. You must also have detailed knowledge of aircraft 
maintenance fundamentals and company procedures, and a sound knowledge of air legislation. 
The type training course certificate should be EASA part 147 approved training center.

1. Resume / CV
2. Copy of Highest Educational Certificate
3. Copy of Passport
4. Copy of Valid ICAO ATP License
5. Copy of Company Authorisation / Approval
6. Copy of Type Training Certificates (Theorical & Practical)
