JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
• Graduate of any course. Preferably aviation related course
• With current CAAP Flight Operations Officer License or equivalent.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
• Must be knowledgeable in AIMS, Navitaire, Navtech, AFTN, and Emergency Procedures or
equivalent
• Must have at least three (3) years professional experience in Aviation or Airline operations
• Experience in international flight operations
Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe, legal and optimized flight planning and operations.
• In charge of dispatch for scheduled and nonscheduled operations considering aircraft
technicalities, weather, aerodrome/enroute notams, pireps, ashtams, routing, payload and
fuel load.
• Coordinates with country CAAs
• Performs flight, ATC and crew communications watch.
• Prepares operational/hand-over reports, notes and answers all telephone inquiries.
• Files ATC flight plans
• coordinates with all department and offices on all operational requirements by radio
communication, telex, e-mail, and/or fax.
• Establish and maintain good operational relations with internal departments and external
agencies.
• Acts as shift flight dispatch supervisor
• Has excellent knowledge of Flight Operations Safety & Quality systems
• Ensures operational awareness
